Meet the Team

Mimi

Mimi Jansen

Practice Manager

I have been working with Dr. van Rensburg since March 2011. I qualified in November 2017 and I am currently working as the practice manager since August 2016.

I believe my background in nursing has helped me achieve a better understanding of patient needs, the nurses’ responsibility and treatment which has benefitted me in becoming a better and more well-rounded manager.

I love managing the practice and helping the staff achieve their goals, as well as assisting our patients with their queries.

My future goals are to complete a Radiography Course and continue training in CQC.

She tutored for two years in Implantology at RCS in London.

Although she has been doing orthodontic treatments for the last 32 years, she is busy with a Post Graduate Diploma in Orthodontics (City of London School of Dentistry) to ensure she is up to date with the latest methods and technology.

If not doing dentistry, Winifred is either on her road bike or in the gym. She is very passionate about rugby, and is a avid Munster supporter!

Hayley Thompson

Senior Dental Nurse

I began training as a dental nurse in 2006. Since qualifying I now have additional qualifications in dental implants, dental sedation and pain management, dental cosmetics and periodontics. I have had some additional training in practice management. I enjoy a clinical role much more. I am very proud to have assisted Winifred in her practice accreditation in dental implants from the Royal College of Surgeons.

More recently I have been training in facial aesthetics and I plan to train in dental radiography.

Dentistry has become a passion for me and I really love what I do.
